A large, critical power system distributor in the Northeast is looking for a highly driven and energetic Sales Leader.
The Role You’ll Play
This company is growing fast. The Northeastern US territory is critical to their growth and the opportunity to take a large chunk of the US and own it is right there waiting for the right, dynamic and technically skilled sales manager to take it and run with it.
They offer innovative product lines in support of stationary/reserve power systems across a spectrum of industries including telco, data center, government, military, and utilities. If you have the contacts within those industries to put sales quotas to bed easily, then this role will reward you exceptionally well.
In this role, you will have the chance to demonstrate your exceptional out-of-the-box thinking, while developing creative solutions to your clients' needs. Who You Are

Independent and self-driven, you know exactly what it takes to be successful on the road managing a territory.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge and expertise across all aspects of stored power systems, with a proven track record of solution based sales working with engineering and procurement teams both internally and externally.
Experience working for both larger and smaller vendors in the critical/backup power industry.
An outstanding network of active contacts within data center, telco, utilities, solar and wind power industries as well as any other business with critical backup power requirements.
Can take a large territory filled with opportunity and make it your own? ‘First person on the ground’ experience would be very useful. Although this territory has had some work done within it, the field is wide open for growth.

Minimum of 5 years of Stationary Power System sales experience including Stationary battery sales, system design of DC power, and distribution equipment.
Bachelors Degree in business, Electrical Engineering, or another technical field, plus sales experience.
Knowledge of industry standards i.e. IEEE, NEMA, NERC, UL, etc.
Computer: proficiency with Microsoft suite, CRM packages.
