Supply Chain Planner

Position Mission:

The mission is the fundamental reason this position exists.

The mission of the Supply Chain Planner is to create demand and supply plans that will roll up into a 24-month forecast. This forecast will be utilized by the local facility to support the customer requirements at the lowest total cost. On the demand side, the planner will support to build a 24-month sales forecast. On the supply side, the planner will support translating demand into site specific plans for the manufacturing locations.

  1. Partner with assigned supplier to manage year-end inventory dollars to meet the AOP (Annual Operations Planning)

  2. Partner with assigned supplier to maintain past due back orders less than 1 day production

  3. Work with planning organization to ensure all suppliers are working monthly from a constrained supply plan

Travel Requirements:

DOMESTIC TRAVEL - 25%

Other Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years supply chain planning experience

  • Working knowledge and direct experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

  • Experience using system driven Material Resource Planning (MRP) to uncover signals and transmitting them into an executable plan

The mission of the Operational Excellence Manager is to lead the efforts to increase safety, quality, and operational efficiency for the South Carolina plant. The Operational Excellence Manager will partner with the plant manager to meet or exceed the company's operational plans for 2019 and beyond.

  1. Utilize Lean tools and practices in partnership with Engineering to increase productivity, decrease waste, and decrease downtime by 50% by the end of 2019

  2. Be a Safety Champion for the plant to promote and achieve a Zero incident safety culture. Target IRR <1 (Incident Rate) with a goal of 0 recordable incidents on a rolling 12 month basis

  3. Partner with the Quality team to identify defects and improve quality by 50% by end of 2019

  4. Develop standard operating procedures enforced through standard work, visual controls, and accountability

  5. Manage complex projects with aggressive deadlines utilizing cross-functional teams. Include robust, sustainable training practices when needed
